Developmental mindset

Is the ability for an individual or groups or a community finding solution to addressing a challenge or a need. Identifying that development challenge(s) and professing or finding real solution to the challenge(s) emanates from within. When there is this change of attitude(s) of people/communities to stop depending on outsiders to be solution bearers to their development challenges. When there is a change of attitude, they see development to be collaborative process of finding solution and the process must start from the people who need it.
This is evidence in Mark 8:5-6 and Matthew 15:34-35, when Jesus and the disciples were being followed by a great multitude of people and they were all hungry. In trying to find the solution, Jesus ask what do you have (Mark 8:5 and Matthew 15:34)? The disciple responded, a little boy has 7 loaves and 2 fishes. Their solution was found from there.
A mind set of solving an individual or community problems in the more intentional manner and very strategic, problem solving must be an integrated but not a piece meal having the eye of diagnosing community problems and together finding solution to them, identifying the best areas of impacting,, identification of resourceful persons, and building on talents or gifts .
Developmental mindset is when you set up a goal or target with a excellent standard acceptable by the society with good standards to help raised your wards.
Developmental mindset to my understanding is the willingness to adjust, evolve, desire to learn and commit to overcoming challenges. Understanding strength and areas for improvement. Having a developmental mindset equips one to forge to do better for him/herself and not relying on others for everything.
I believe that Developmental Mindset refers to simply acquiring the right information, structures, institutions and resources for effective growth and transformation. We can refer to the gospel of Luke 5: 1-11. There Jesus gives to Simon Peter what he truly needs for complete transformation.
Developmental mindset has to do with people casting visions that are able to bring societal transformation. Leadership plays a critical role in the development of a community and its people.
I also perceive a developmental mindset as empowering caregivers and communities by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to identify their needs and devise effective solutions. This empowerment leads to sustainable development as people become active participants in their growth rather than passive aid recipients.

It may also mean to have open ended mindset: thus to be ready to think outside the spectrum.
I see developmental mindset to be very key in solving our day to day challenges. This is because it helps to also identify and deal with some future occurrences that might come along the way.
