Youth may turn to drugs because of peer pressure, curiosity, family difficulties, stress, community influences, and lack of guidance. Preventing drug use requires supportive families, informed communities, positive friendships, and open communication. Young people should be encouraged to make healthy choices and seek help when they are struggling.

Any substance that changes how the body and mind works. Good drugs = medicines prescribed by doctor. Bad/abused drugs = using medicines wrongly or using illegal substances.

The society we are raised sometimes determines the level of addiction. Education should should be contextualized than a straight jacket approch to dealing with addiction.

Youth drug abuse should be viewed not primarily as a moral or security breakdown, but as a systemic indicator of deeper economic strain, gaps in healthcare, and structural youth vulnerability.

Drug Abuse destroys the future of young people. The best approach is prevention through education, support, and early help. If someone is affected, they need counselling and treatment, not judgement.
