The lesson “Decision Making” teaches children about the decision making process by having them complete an activity that models the risks of making decisions based on chance. Each child will identify examples from everyday life of how they can minimize negative outcome when it comes to making risky decisions. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 23rd lesson in the 2nd Year “Real-Life Problem Solving” unit.
