The lesson “Practicing Patching a Tire” uses the information learned in the previous lesson about the steps of patching a tire to apply the skills practically. The children will have the opportunity each to practice patching a flat tire on a bike, motorcycle, or car. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 46th lesson (Part B) in the 2nd Year “Real-Life Problem Solving” unit.
