The lesson “Exploring Careers In Health” is part 32 of a 35 part series on human development, the human body, health, and safety. This lesson invites the children to ask questions to a healthcare professional who is a guest speaker. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of children between the ages of 9 and 11, and is the thirty-second physical development lesson in the Core Curriculum, 9-11 years, Year Two.
