The lesson “Sharing Time and Possessions” teaches children about why it is important to share with each other, based on the development of Godly character. By engaging in activity where supplies must be shared, the children learn to demonstrate the practice of sharing and how it can be fun. They will come to understand the outcome of aggressive words, such as hurt feelings, and will model kind ways to respond and interact with others as an alternative. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 35th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Emotional Development” unit.
