This course is designed to equip Child Development Workers (CDWs) with the essential knowledge, skills, and tools required to effectively facilitate Compassion International’s holistic child development programmes.

The manual covers key areas including curriculum understanding, effective teaching methodologies, teaching and learning materials, letter writing, supporter engagement, and internal controls. Through this training, CDWs will be better prepared to support the spiritual, cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional development of children and young people in their care, in line with Compassion International’s mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
