The lesson “Cooking Utensils” further develops the children’s knowledge of food sources, but also food preparation. The children will learn about common cookware items and utensils and explain each of their uses. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 34th lesson in the 2nd Year “Where Does My Food Come From?” unit.
